Digital Vyapar Group is a B2B business software platform for traders, manufacturers, and transport operators in India. By creating an account or using our Services, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. What Data We Collect

The information we collect matches what we declare in the Google Play Data Safety section and is limited to what is needed to run our ERP, cashbook, and transport features.

Personal Information

  • Full name
  • Mobile number (required for account signup and login)
  • Alternate mobile number (optional)

Business Information

  • Business name
  • GSTIN (if provided)
  • Business type (e.g. Trader, Transport Operator, Manufacturer)

Financial & Logistical Data

  • Digital Cashbook entries: cash in, cash out, and Udhari (credit) records
  • Transport module data: Bilty/LR details, freight charges, truck/vehicle numbers, and related delivery information
  • Invoices, khata (ledger), and other business records you enter in the app

Device Information

  • Device identifier
  • Operating system and app version
  • IP address

Device and network data are collected to keep the app secure, prevent fraud, and troubleshoot technical issues.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use the information we collect only for legitimate business purposes related to our Services:

  • To operate core app features such as invoice generation, Bilty creation, khata management, manufacturing ERP workflows, and transport logistics
  • To send payment reminders, invoices, and business notifications via WhatsApp or SMS when you choose to use those features
  • To verify your identity during signup and login (including OTP-based authentication)
  • To improve app performance, fix bugs, and provide customer support
  • To comply with applicable laws and respond to lawful requests from authorities

We do not use your business or financial data for unrelated advertising purposes.

4. Data Sharing & Security

No Third-Party Sale

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal or business data to any third party or marketing company.

Service Providers

We share data only with trusted partners who help us deliver the Services, such as:

  • SMS/OTP gateway providers for login verification and notifications
  • Cloud hosting and database providers where your data is securely stored
  • WhatsApp or messaging integrations when you explicitly use those features to share invoices or reminders

These partners are contractually required to use your data only to provide services to us and to protect it appropriately.

Data Encryption & Storage

Your data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and stored on secure servers with access controls. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account and business data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Services. If you delete your account, we will permanently delete or anonymise your personal and business data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain certain records to comply with legal, tax, or regulatory obligations.

6. Data Deletion Policy

In line with Google Play Store requirements, you have the right to request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.

You may:

  • Request account deletion from within the mobile application (where available in Settings), or
  • Email our support team at info@digitalvyapargroup.in with the subject line “Account Deletion Request” and the mobile number linked to your account

Once verified, we will permanently delete your account and all associated business data, subject to any legal retention requirements mentioned above. We will confirm deletion by email when the process is complete.

7. Your Rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete information
  • Request deletion of your account and data (see Section 6)
  • Withdraw consent for optional communications

8. Children’s Privacy

Our Services are intended for business users and are not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

When we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you through the app or by email. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
